Ted: Hey Lance are you going to ask someone to dance?

테드: 어이 랜스 누군가에게 춤 추자고 할 거야?

Lance: I don't think so. Nobody turns me on.

랜스: 아니. 끌리는 사람이 없어.

Ted: Come on! What kind of women do you like?

테드: 왜 그래! 어떤 여자를 좋아하는데?

Lance: I want someone with old fashioned values.

랜스: 옛날식 가치관을 가진 여자면 좋지.

Ted: Where have you been? You can't find anyone like that anymore.

테드: 어디 있다 온 거야? 그런 사람은 더 이상 찾아볼 수 없어.

Lance: I've met a lot of women like that but not at this party.

랜스: 난 그런 여자 많이 만났어. 이 파티에 없어서 그렇지.

Ted: Sounds boring to me.

테드: 난 재미없다.

Lance: That's your opinion but it's not my point of view.

랜스: 그건 네 생각이고. 내 의견은 달라.

Ted: You're not going to have much fun tonight.

테드: 너 오늘 밤 신나긴 틀렸다.

Lance: I can deal with it.

랜스: 그런 건 감당할 수 있어.

기억할만한 표현

*turn (someone) on: 마음이 끌리다. 성적으로 관심이 가다.

“She told me that you have been turning her on.” (그녀가 그러는데 너한테 끌린대.)

*old fashioned values: 옛날식 가치관.

“Her old fashioned values are difficult for him to understand.” (그는 그녀의 옛날식 가치관을 이해하기 어려웠어요.)

*deal with it (or something): (무엇을) 다루다. Means to be able to manage or control a situation.

“I have been dealing with crying kids all day.” (나는 하루 종일 우는 아이들과 씨름해.)
