Brent: I never see you with Tom anymore. I thought you guys were the best of friends.

브렌트: 네가 탐하고 같이 있는 걸 못 봤어. 너희 둘이 친한 친구인 줄 알았는데.

Scott: Well I'm not sure but I'm not hanging out with him these days.

스캇: 그게 잘 모르겠는데 요즘은 탐하고 안 놀아.

Brent: What happened?

브렌트: 무슨 일 있었어?

Scott: You've probably heard of his out of control temper.

스캇: 탐이 욱하는 성격인 건 들었을 거고.

Brent: Not at all. I've always known him to be the life of the party.

브렌트: 그런 말 전혀 못 들었는데. 난 늘 탐이 파티 분위기 메이커인 걸로 알고 있었지.

Scott: I guess you've never seen him fly off the handle one night never apologize and forget all about it in the morning.

스캇: 넌 스캇이 어느 날 밤에 아무 것도 아닌 일에 벌컥 화를 내고 사과도 안 하고 다음날 아침에 까맣게 잊어버리는 걸 한 번도 못 본 모양이네.

Brent: He sounds moody.

브렌트: 탐이 변덕스러운가 보네.

Scott: Yeah. You never know which Tom you're going to get.

스캇: 응. 탐이 어떤 모습으로 변할지 알 수가 없어.

Brent: Well everyone gets moody sometimes.

브렌트: 글쎄 누구나 때로는 변덕스럽지.

Scott: Maybe that's true but that's no excuse for his behavior.

스캇: 그럴 수도 있지만 그게 탐의 행동에 대한 변명은 못 돼.

“She’s been hanging out with the same friends for years.”

▶out of control: 통제 불능의.
“The demonstration got out of control and many people got hurt.”

“He flies off the handle over things that aren’t really important.”
