Server: Hi. My name is Pam and I'm your server today. May I bring you something to drink?

종업원: 안녕하세요. 저는 팸이라고 하고요 오늘 서빙을 맡게 됐습니다. 마실 것을 갖다 드릴까요?

Karl: A cup of coffee please.

칼: 커피 한 잔 주세요.

Ann: I'd like a glass of iced tea.

앤: 전 아이스 티 한 잔 주세요.

Server: Will that be all or may I take your order now?

종업원: 다 시키신 건가요 아니면 지금 주문을 받을까요?

Karl: I'm ready. I'll have a salad with dressing on the side.

칼: 지금 주문할게요. 샐러드 주시는데 드레싱은 따로 주세요.

Ann: I'd like a medium hamburger.

앤: 전 중간 사이즈 햄버거 주세요.

Server: It comes with your choice of cole slaw or French fries.

종업원: 햄버거에는 코울 슬로나 감자튀김 둘 중의 하나가 따라 나옵니다.

Ann: Make it fries. 앤: 감자튀김으로 할게요.

Server: Will that be all?

종업원: 다 주문하신 건가요?

Karl: I think so. Please bring the check with our food. We're pressed for time.

칼: 그런 것 같아요. 음식 가져올 때 계산서도 함께 주세요. 시간이 없거든요.

기억할만한 표현

*on the side: 따로. 다른 접시에.

"I would like a piece of cake with ice cream on the side." (케익 한 조각 주세요. 아이스크림은 다른 접시에 따로 주시고요.)

*It comes with (something): (무엇이) 딸려 나오다.

"The car comes with leather seats." (이 차에는 가죽 시트가 (기본 옵션으로) 딸려 나와요.)

*(one) is pressed for time: 시간이 없다 부족하다.

"Fast food is convenient when you're pressed for time." (패스트 푸드는 시간 없을 때 편리해.)
