Diana: I heard there were some very strong winds blowing last night in Los Angeles.

다이애나: 지난 밤에 LA에 강풍이 불었다며.

Roger: Yes. Strong winds usually blow in late November early December.

라저: 응. 11월 말하고 12월 초에 대개 강풍이 불어.

Diana: Was there a lot of damage?

다이애나: 피해가 많았어?

Roger: There's a blackout in my neighborhood. No electricity for a lot of people.

라저: 우리 동네는 정전이 됐어. 전기 공급 안 된 사람들이 많아.

Diana: What are you doing?

다이애나: 넌 어떻게 하고 있어?

Roger: There's not much I can do. Just wait it out till the lights come back on.

라저: 할 수 있는 별로 없어. 그냥 전기가 다시 들어올 때까지 기다리고 있어.

Diana: We haven't had that problem in New York in a long time.

다이애나: 뉴욕에 그런 문제 생긴 지는 한참됐어.

Roger: A lot trees got knocked down because of the strong winds.

라저: 강풍 때문에 나무가 많이 쓰러졌어.

Diana: Well I have to go but you take care and I'll talk to you soon.

다이애나: 있잖아 그만 전화 끊어야겠다. 잘 지내고 조만간 또 얘기하자.

Roger: Okay Diana. I'll talk to you later.

라저: 그래 누나. 나중에 얘기해.
